Email the editorial team

The editorial team behind bestnewbettingsites.co.uk can be reached by email at [email protected]. There is no contact form and no telephone line, so email is the one route in, and every message lands with the people who research and update the pages. We read everything that arrives, and we reply to messages that need an answer.

Email is the quickest way to reach us and the best way to send a correction.

Reporting an outdated offer

Bookmakers change their welcome offers often, sometimes with no notice at all. A free bet amount can drop, minimum odds can rise, or an offer can be replaced by a new one overnight. Each page on the site shows the date it was last reviewed, and we recheck offers regularly, but readers sometimes spot a change before we do. If you see one, we would like to hear about it.

To help us check and correct it quickly, please include:

  • the address of the page on our site where you saw the offer
  • the name of the bookmaker
  • what our page says and what the operator’s site now shows
  • the date you checked the operator’s site
  • a link to the operator’s offer or terms page, if you have it

Screenshots are welcome but not essential. We confirm every report against the operator’s own published terms before changing a page, so a link to the source saves time. The offers in the homepage comparison are the ones most likely to change, because they cover the newest brands, and new brands tend to adjust their welcome deals more often than established ones while they work out what attracts customers.

Corrections from bookmakers themselves are handled in the same way. If you work for an operator and your offer, payout window or app availability has changed, send the details from a company email address together with a link to the live terms. We check the information against the operator’s own published pages before anything on our site is updated, and the review date on the page changes once the correction is made.

Reporting a wrong licence detail

Licence information matters more on a site about new bookmakers than almost anywhere else. The UK Gambling Commission licenses companies, not brands, and a brand can sit under a different company from the one you might expect, or move from one licence holder to another. Not every licence holder lists every domain it runs, which can make the register hard to read.

If you think we have named the wrong licence holder, missed a domain, or listed a brand that is no longer active, please send:

  • the brand name and its website address
  • the licence holder or account number you believe is correct
  • where you found that information, ideally a link to the Gambling Commission register entry

Our new bookmakers tracker and the how we rate page explain how we use the register, which helps if you want to check our reasoning before writing in.

What we cannot help with

We are an information site, so there are some problems we are not able to solve. We do not run betting accounts, hold funds or have any access to the systems of the bookmakers we cover. That means we cannot:

  • unlock, close or verify a betting account
  • release a withdrawal or reverse a bet
  • change the terms of a bonus or free bet
  • intervene in a dispute between you and an operator

If you have a problem with an account, a bet, a bonus or a payout, contact the bookmaker’s customer service and use its formal complaints process. Licensed operators must give you a final response, and if your complaint is still not resolved after 8 weeks, you can take it to the operator’s approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. IBAS is one of the best known ADR services in the UK, and the operator’s terms will tell you which provider it uses. ADR is free for customers.

Support for gambling harm

If your message is really about your own gambling or someone else’s, there are free, confidential services that can help straight away, at any time of day:

  • National Gambling Helpline: 0808 8020 133, run by GambleAware (gambleaware.org)
  • GamCare: support and advice at gamcare.org.uk
  • GamStop: free self-exclusion from all licensed UK sites at gamstop.co.uk
  • Gamblers Anonymous UK: peer support groups
  • Gordon Moody: specialist support for severe gambling harm

Our safer gambling page explains the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools every licensed bookmaker must provide, and how to set them up when you open a new account.

Other questions and feedback

Not every email has to be a correction. If a guide was unclear, a comparison left out something you wanted to know, or you have a suggestion for a topic we have not covered yet, we are glad to hear it. Reader questions often show us where a page needs more detail, and several of our guides have been extended because someone asked a question we had not answered well enough. Please keep messages to one topic each where you can, as it makes them easier to route and answer.

How we handle your email

When you write to us, we use your email address and message only to deal with your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not pass your details to bookmakers. Our privacy policy explains how long we keep correspondence and the rights you have over your data.

Please gamble responsibly. GambleAware.org 18+

  • Time-outs
  • Reality checks
  • Self-exclusion and GamStop

What is the best way to contact the site?

Email [email protected]. There is no contact form and no phone line, so email is the only channel and every message is read by the editorial team.

Can you help me get my winnings from a bookmaker?

No. We have no access to bookmaker accounts. Raise the issue with the operator's customer service and complaints process first. If it is still unresolved after 8 weeks, you can take it to the operator's ADR provider, such as IBAS.

I found an offer that has changed. What should I send?

Send the page address, the bookmaker's name, what our page says and what the operator's site now shows, plus the date you checked. A link to the operator's terms page helps us verify it quickly.

Can a bookmaker pay to be listed or rated higher?

Scores follow the published method on our how we rate page. Operators are welcome to email corrections to factual details such as licence holder or payout times, which we check against our sources.

Who do I contact if I am worried about my gambling?

Call the free National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, or visit gambleaware.org or gamcare.org.uk. To block all licensed UK sites at once, register with GamStop at gamstop.co.uk.

How quickly will I get a reply?

We aim to reply to every email that needs a response. Reports of outdated offers or licence details are checked first, as they affect what other readers see.
