New betting site reviews
Seven bookmakers, each reviewed against the same five checks: two debutants and five established brands we use as benchmarks. Verdict first, details below.

Our pick of the reviews depends on what you want. For a genuinely new brand, Bet442 leads the debutants at 4.0 out of 5, with PayPal and stated payouts of 1 to 3 days, though its welcome offer only pays Bet Builder free bets. QuickBet follows at 3.5 with a £5 minimum deposit. If you are happy with an established name, BetMGM scores highest of all seven at 4.6, and Tote is the one to pick if you mainly bet on racing.
Every review below follows the same order: the verdict, the welcome offer and what its terms mean in practice, who holds the licence, payment methods and stated withdrawal windows, betting features, apps, support, responsible gambling tools, and the score on our five checks. The full ranking with live offers sits on our best new betting sites page.
The debutants
These two brands have been online for about three years or less, which is our working definition of a new betting site.
- QuickBet review: online since 2025, scores 3.5. Bet £10 Get £10, £5 minimum deposit, PayPal listed.
- Bet442 review: online since 2024, scores 3.7. Bet £20 Get £20 in Bet Builder free bets, PayPal listed.
New does not mean unknown. QuickBet is run by L & L Europe Limited, whose register entry also lists six casino domains, and Bet442 trades on the licence of Betable Limited as a White Label brand. Knowing the company behind a brand tells you more about how it will handle your money than the launch date does. Our new bookmakers tracker shows which companies have received a betting licence in the last two years and which domains they list.
The established benchmarks
These five are not new betting sites, and their reviews say so plainly. They are here because a newcomer’s offer or payout window means little until you see it next to a familiar bookmaker.
- BetMGM review: online since 2018, scores 4.6. Bet £10 Get £40, PayPal stated at up to 24 hours.
- Tote review: online since 2020, scores 3.6. Bet £5 Get £20, half of it racing Tote Credit.
- Betano review: online since 2018, scores 3.4. Bet £10 Get £30 in football free bets with a 14-day expiry.
- Parimatch review: online since 2000, scores 3.3. Bet £10 Get £30 in football free bets.
- Bally Bet review: online since 2021, scores 3.2. Bet £10 Get £30 in bet tokens, qualifying odds of 1/2.
How the reviews are scored
Each bookmaker gets the same five checks, weighted equally and each scored from 0 to 1. Offer value compares the free bet value with the qualifying stake, capped at four times. Offer terms reward minimum odds of 2.00 or lower and a longer expiry. The payout check uses the top of the stated withdrawal window. The PayPal check asks whether PayPal withdrawals are listed. The licence check asks whether the domain itself appears on the Gambling Commission register. The score is 1 plus four times the average, to one decimal place, out of 5. The full method, including what we do not measure, is on our how we rate page.
Two limits are worth knowing before you read any score. We do not open accounts to time withdrawals, so a payout window is what the operator states. And the licence check looks at domains, so a well-known brand can score 0.6 on that check simply because its company does not list the domain separately on the register. The reviews for Betano, Parimatch, Bet442 and Bally Bet explain this case by case.
What each review tells you that a listing cannot
A listing gives you the offer and the score. A review explains the catch behind the headline. Bet442’s £20 in free bets only works as four-leg Bet Builders. BetMGM’s £40 is paid entirely as multiples and accas. Tote Credit cannot be used on football. Betano’s qualifying bet must be placed within 3 days of sign up. Those details decide whether an offer suits you, and they rarely fit in a single line.
The reviews also put payment methods side by side with the stated time for each one. A bookmaker’s overall window can hide a faster route, as with BetMGM’s PayPal or Parimatch’s one-day card payouts, or a slower one, as with Visa at Bally Bet. If speed matters, compare them on our fastest payout betting sites page, and if you want an e-wallet, start with our PayPal betting sites.
Whichever bookmaker you choose, set a deposit limit when you register, and remember that GAMSTOP covers every GB-licensed site at once if you need a break.

Which new betting site has the best score?
Among the debutants, Bet442 scores 4.0 out of 5 and QuickBet 3.5. Across all seven reviews, BetMGM scores highest at 4.6, but it has been online since 2018 and is in our established group.
Why do you review established bookmakers on a new betting sites page?
Because a new brand only looks good or bad next to something. Betano, BetMGM, Parimatch, Bally Bet and Tote give you a fixed point to compare the newcomers against on offers, payouts and licensing.
Why are only seven bookmakers reviewed?
We review the bookmakers on our racecard: UKGC-licensed brands whose operator records show them active for British customers. A brand whose record shows it temporarily removed comes off the racecard until it is active again.
Do you open accounts and test these bookmakers?
No. Each review is built from what the operator states and what the Gambling Commission register shows. We do not time withdrawals or test customer service, and the reviews say so where it matters.
How often are the reviews updated?
Offer, payment and feature data was last checked on 15 October 2026. A review changes when an operator changes its terms or our register snapshot changes.
What does Not stated mean in a features table?
It means none of our sources confirm the feature. It is not proof the feature is missing, so check the bookmaker directly if it matters to you.
