The best new betting sites offers on our racecard are not where most people expect them. The newest brands, QuickBet and Bet442, match your stake one for one, while established bookmakers such as BetMGM and Tote hand back four times the qualifying bet. If you only care about the size of the free bet, the benchmark group wins. If you want a fresh account with a smaller commitment and straightforward terms, the debutants are worth a look.
The offer board above ranks the new betting sites offers we track, every sign up deal compared by free bets per £1 staked. Below are the terms that change the real value of each one. All figures come from the operators’ own terms as recorded in our 15 October 2026 operator check. Offers change often, so treat the table as a starting point and read the full terms on the bookmaker’s site before you deposit.
What the headline number hides
A “Bet £10 Get £40” banner tells you very little on its own. Three conditions decide how much of that £40 you can realistically use, and they differ more than the headlines suggest.
Minimum odds on the qualifying bet
Six of the seven listed offers need the qualifying bet at 2.00 or higher, which in practice means evens or longer. That rules out short-priced favourites, so a £10 bet on a 1/3 shot at Ascot will not trigger anything. Bally Bet is the softer option here, accepting a settled bet at 1/2 (1.50), although it excludes odds boosts, profit boosts and second-chance bets from qualifying.
How the free bets are split
This is where offers that look identical part ways. Betano’s £30 arrives as three different £10 bets: one for any football acca with three or more selections, one for a football Bet Builder from a single match, and one for any football market. BetMGM’s £40 comes as two football accas with four or more legs and two sports multiples with two or more legs. Bet442 gives two £10 Bet Builder free bets, and each one needs at least four legs at combined odds of 3/1. If you never build multiples, a chunk of these offers will be awkward to use, and you may end up placing bets you would not otherwise choose. That is a fair reason to pick a smaller, simpler offer.
Expiry and stake returns
Bally Bet gives you 30 days, Betano 14, and most of the rest 7. A week is shorter than it sounds if the free bets only suit football and the international break lands in the middle. QuickBet’s expiry is not stated clearly in our data, so check it on sign up. Where the terms mention it (Betano and Bally Bet do), the free bet stake is not returned with winnings, which roughly halves the cash value of a free bet placed at evens.
New betting sites offers from the newest brands
It is tempting to assume that a new bookmaker will buy customers with a huge welcome bonus. On our racecard the reverse is true. QuickBet, online since 2025, offers £10 for £10 with a £5 minimum deposit. Bet442, online since 2024, offers £20 for £20. Both list PayPal withdrawals, and Bet442 states a payout window of 1 to 3 days, which compares well with the established group.
The licence holders tell you more than the brand names. QuickBet is operated by L & L Europe Limited, which lists six other domains on the Gambling Commission register, mostly casino brands such as pubcasino.co.uk and yeticasino.com. Bet442 names Betable Limited, which the register lists as licence holder for bet442.co.uk as a White Label domain. So a “new” bookmaker is often a new front door on an existing company, which is no bad thing for reliability, but it does mean the welcome offer was written by a team that has done this before. Our new bookmakers page lists the newest real-event betting licences, including Silkbet Limited (May 2026) and Greenlight Bet Ltd (June 2026), whose offers we will add once they are on our racecard.
One odd detail from the register: Betano and Parimatch, two brands with very different histories (Parimatch has been online since 2000), both name BV Gaming Limited as licence holder. Their football offers are almost the same shape, Bet £10 Get £30 at evens, which is probably not a coincidence.
Bet £10 get £30 and £40 offers compared: value against stake
The most common shape on our racecard is “bet £10, get £30”, with one “bet £10, get £40”. Four of the seven listed offers fit that pattern:
| Bookmaker | Qualifying bet | Free bets | Free bets per £1 staked | Free bet format | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BetMGM | £10 sports bet | £40 (4 x £10) | £4 | 2 x football accas (4+), 2 x sports multiples (2+) | 7 days |
| Betano | £10 on football at 2.00+ | £30 (3 x £10) | £3 | Football acca (3+), football Bet Builder (3+), any football market | 14 days |
| Parimatch | £10 on football at 1/1+ | £30 | £3 | Free football bets | 7 days |
| Bally Bet | £10 at 1/2+ | £30 (3 x £10 tokens) | £3 | Bet tokens | 30 days |
The “per £1 staked” figure is the cleanest comparison, and on it BetMGM is ahead. But the face value is not cash, for two reasons.
The free bet stake is not returned. A £10 free bet at 2.00 pays £10 if it wins, not £20. At 3.00 it pays £20. The general rule is free bet stake x (decimal odds - 1).
Free bets win only some of the time. At evens, a selection the bookmaker prices fairly would win about half the time. So, in rough terms, a £10 free bet at evens is worth around £5 on average before the bookmaker’s margin. Three of them are worth around £15, four around £20.
Put together: a Bet £10 Get £30 offer used on single selections at evens is worth roughly £15 in cash terms over many attempts, and a Bet £10 Get £40 roughly £20. Those are averages, not predictions; any one free bet either pays or does not. The format then pulls the figure down. A four-leg acca free bet has a much smaller chance of landing than a single, so it is worth less on average even though it pays more when it wins. That is why Betano’s any-football-market free bet, or Bally Bet’s tokens with a 30-day expiry, can be easier to get value from than a larger offer made of multiples.
The qualifying bet costs something too. You stake £10 at the minimum odds, and that bet carries the bookmaker’s normal margin. It is the price of entry rather than a free part of the deal.
Offers for existing customers
Like most new betting sites offers, a welcome offer is used once. If you keep the account, the promotions that follow matter more over time, and they vary far more between bookmakers than sign up offers do. We have not recorded existing-customer promotions for the sites on our racecard, so the list below describes the common types and how to judge them rather than who offers what.
- Acca boosts. A percentage added to the winnings of accumulators with a minimum number of legs. Check the minimum legs, the minimum odds per leg and the cap on the boost.
- Price and profit boosts. A single selection at enhanced odds, or a percentage added to the profit of one bet. Look at the maximum stake, which is often low.
- Free bet clubs. Stake a set amount over a week, get a free bet. Work out the free bet as a share of the stake you must place: £5 for £25 of bets is 20%, before the free bet’s own terms.
- Acca insurance. Your stake back, usually as a free bet, if one leg of an acca loses. Note that the refund is often a free bet rather than cash, and capped.
- Racing concessions. Best odds on the starting price, extra places and non-runner no bet. Our page on new horse racing betting sites explains each one.
How to judge any of them: ask whether you would have placed the qualifying bets anyway. A free bet that requires you to stake more than you planned is not a saving. Read the minimum odds, the expiry and whether the reward is cash or a free bet. And note that bookmakers can withdraw promotions from individual accounts, so an existing-customer offer is never a fixed part of what an account gives you.
Since January 2026, bonuses on GB sites cannot carry wagering of more than 10x, and a sports promotion cannot be tied to casino play. That applies to existing-customer offers as much as to welcome deals.
Claiming a sign up offer without tripping over the terms
Most failed claims come from small things. Opt in where the offer asks for it: Betano, BetMGM, Parimatch and Bally Bet all require an opt-in. Place the qualifying bet inside the window, which is 3 days from sign up at Betano and 7 days at BetMGM and Parimatch. Avoid cash out on the qualifying bet at Parimatch, and avoid boosted or enhanced prices at Betano and Bally Bet. At Tote, an each-way qualifying bet needs £5 on both the win and the place part.
Complete your identity checks early too. Every UK licensed bookmaker must verify your age and identity, and doing it before you need a withdrawal saves a frustrating wait later. Our guide to whether new betting sites are safe covers what those checks involve and how to confirm a licence on the Gambling Commission register.
A free bet is still a bet. Set a deposit limit when you open the account, and if you have used GAMSTOP or feel that betting is taking more time or money than you planned, skip the offer entirely. Our responsible gambling page lists the tools every licensed site must provide.
For the full ranking of the newest operators, with payout windows and PayPal support next to the offers, head back to our list of new betting sites. Tote’s offer is the one to watch if you mainly bet on racing: it is the only deal on the racecard that pays part of the reward as credit specifically for horse racing.

What is the best sign up offer at a new betting site right now?
On pure value, BetMGM gives the most back for the stake: bet £10 and receive £40 in free bets, split into four £10 bets. Tote also returns four times the stake (£20 for a £5 bet), although half of that is Tote Credit for racing. Among the debutant brands, Bet442 matches a £20 bet with £20 in Bet Builder free bets.
Do new betting sites give bigger welcome offers than established bookmakers?
Not on our racecard. The newest brands, QuickBet and Bet442, match your qualifying stake one for one, while the established benchmark group returns three or four times the stake. New brands tend to compete on other things, such as stated payout windows and PayPal withdrawals.
Is the free bet stake returned if my free bet wins?
Usually not. Betano and Bally Bet both state in their terms that the free bet stake is not returned, so a winning £10 free bet at 2.00 pays £10, not £20. QuickBet goes further and deducts the free bet value from free bet winnings.
What minimum odds do sign up offers require?
Most offers on our racecard need a qualifying bet at 2.00 (evens) or higher. Bally Bet is the exception at 1/2 (1.50). Bet Builder free bets at Bet442 add a second condition: at least four legs at combined odds of 3/1 (4.00).
How long do I have to use my free bets?
It depends on the operator. Bally Bet allows 30 days, Betano 14 days, and Bet442, BetMGM, Parimatch and Tote 7 days from the moment the free bets are credited. Unused free bets simply expire.
Can I claim the same sign up offer twice?
No. Every offer on our racecard is restricted to new customers, and opening a second account to claim again breaks the terms at any UK licensed bookmaker. If you are unsure whether a brand is genuinely new or a sister site of one you already use, check the licence holder on our licence tracker.
Do I need to deposit to get a new customer offer?
Yes, for every offer we list. Minimum deposits range from £5 at QuickBet, Betano and Parimatch to £10 at Bet442, BetMGM, Bally Bet and Tote. The deposit only unlocks the offer once you place and settle the qualifying bet.
Is a Bet £10 Get £40 offer worth four times as much as the stake?
Not in cash. Free bet stakes are usually not returned, so a £10 free bet at evens pays £10 if it wins, and it only wins some of the time. The £40 is the total of the free bet stakes, which is a fair way to compare offers but not what you can expect to take home.
